Of course everyone noticed the serious downtime on Twitter for the past few days. If you haven’t noticed, you probably don’t use Twitter, and so why would you care?
For those of us that have Twitterrific open on start up though, we all noticed Twitter had more than just a hiccup. While it it worked sporadically, it was frustrating more than anything else. Yes, the frustration of not be able to access the site and being greeted by LOL cats was there, but what hit hardest was being left in the dark.
While the Twitter Blog lay idle, users were left to speculate about what was going on. While one could dig a bit and find a little information, from a site that asks What are you doing? it would be nice to know what the Twitter team is doing!
No, I’m not switching to Jaiku. I love twitter, and I’m sticking around. But next time, please Twitter team, use the Twitter Blog, and let us know what you’re doing!
