I’ll admit, the headline is lofty. But I think it’s a legitimate question, to a degree. I don’t honestly think everyone’s going to stop blogging. But I have noticed my own tendencies to tumble much more often than blog. And as time goes on, I end up just making a quick post on my tumblelog, rather than writing it all out on my blog, just because it’s so easy. So will it kill my blog all together?
I’m hoping it won’t, and maybe I’m just really into it recently because it’s the coolest new thing. Now, I don’t plan to stop updating here by any means, but it can be hard to draw the line between what belongs on the blog and what belongs on the tumblelog. It can also be hard to decide how much time to spend promoting each.
I guess I’ll open up the question to anyone reading. Has your tumblelog/tumblr kept you from blogging? Or how has it affected you?
That’s my main question. Where do we draw the line between blogging and tumbling? good.
